Hongkong, 5th February, 1890.

With reference to previous correspondence on the subject of Inland Lot 671, I am directed by the Governor to inform you that His Excellency purposes to refer the question of your claims in respect of this Lot to a Board of Arbitration to be established in the same manner as that perscribed by The Crown Lands Resumption Ordinance, 1889, to consider if any compensation should be awarded, and, if so, what.

I am to add that upon hearing from you that you agree to the course suggested, the Honourable the Acting Attorney General will be requested to settle the points for decision by the Arbitrators.
